Mindset, Opportunity, And The Journey Out Of Poverty

One of the things humans find very easy to do right from the beginning of man, is to blame. We find it easy to blame others for what we could have own up to and be a better person for. There are many category of people in this world so comparing oneself to another will hurt you and lead you to blaming others for your own choices.

There is the rich people, some born that way and some had to work hard or smart to earn it, some went through shortcuts (illegal means) to earn their riches. Money is good and they are opportune in whatever way they were, to enjoy spending this money while earning more (for the wise ones) while some go down from the top.

But the prompt is focusing on the poor people, these people who have limited access to spending money but no limit to how to earn money. Yes, I think the poor people, except they are disabled, have opportunities to create wealth for themselves but the capacity and mindset defers, this is why we have poor people around.

Personally, I believe the world is on a balance. There has to be poor people for people to see that there are rich people, just as other aspects of life balances itself too. So before we point fingers at the poor people for not making more for themselves, we would say the life's system play a big role in keeping some poor people poor.

God have said in His words that He wishes us to prosper even as our souls prosper, and He also promised to bless the works of our hands. But are there people who are suffering lack, people who have nothing to do in our world today, yes! Does that mean God has failed the poor? not at all. It is all part of God's perfect design for us.

Where some make it out of being poor is, actually planning to become rich and doing what needs to be done to become rich. The system may have failed to make you rich but you as a person have a lot more to play on your behalf to become the better person you want to be. And that means, you need to work on your mindset so you don't actually come across opportunities and miss it.

To be honest, we are our own problem and until we figure out how we're causing ourselves problems and understand our purpose in life, we would continue to see ourselves as poor or not wanting to be more than we are. Just as success has so many definitions, I'll say here that being poor can mean many things to the people in the situation. It totally depends on the people in it.

Mindset plays a big role after the system rules on how one sees riches and the zeal they have to make wealth for themselves. Not everyone must be rich but we never know who has to be rich or poor, so we just have to work for it and that is where the mindset comes in to pursue success.

Definitely and as they say, one doesn't decide where they were born but can decide how they will live their life. I think the blame game is easy to do, especially when the culprit is the system and one can't clearly point out who the system really is. But thank God, knowledge is more accessible now, and with that the ability to create/find opportunities to not stay poor.
