Hello everyone. December is here and it is time for last edition of Chess960 for year 2025. Last round and after that decision about continuation or having it just as 2025 Chess960 Tour and fun chess. Back to this December Chess960 edition. This is post about selection of the date for last round and update of prize fund for last round . For the last round prize fond will be higher than previous round. 40 Hive in total. It is last round after all. For now rewards should be distributed for top 15 players with other standard rewards.
**40 Hive Total in rewards - top 15 gets rewards**
Top 3 ranked players get 3 Hive each. Top 4 and 5 gets get 2 Hive each. From 6 to 15th place gets 1 Hive each.Top 5 players rewards :
1st 5 Hive
2nd 4 Hive
3rd 3 Hive
4th 2 Hive
5th 1 Hive
1 Hive for biggest upset of the tournament. Additional 1 Hive for all wins - at least 7 games played
Date of the Tournament
Regarding the date for the last round with busy schedule and holidays in the last days of the year there is not much days to choose in that time interval. At the moment middle of the month seems like a reasinable date with 16th ,17th and 18th of December as possible days for the tournament. It is Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday or even Friday if it is free in the pool. Time as 19:00 CEST (17:00 GMT) can be moved according to the players.
