Speaking of military, I was briefly in contact with an army buddy shortly after I join (Steemit/Hive), and told him I was playing chess with people all the whole world. He was an old guy like myself (and he knew hardly anything about the world wide web). He though that was really great but a little unbelievable. Also he couldn’t believe I wasn’t one of the top players:) until I asked him how well he was playing, he had stop playing because he wasn’t playing well, then he understood. I lost contact with that friend and was not able to introduce him to the great 960 and Crazy variants that I come to like so much now.

A few words about crazyhouse it allows me to play completely on instinct and all out attack which I like. Also it don’t punish me for my complete tunnel vision and not playing any defense.

Lichess is offering really great end of year statistics and you may be very surprise when you see your. I was very surprise on my stats and this don’t even include the time I spent on chess.com.
