Chess puzzle and problem are normally challenging and take some effort to solve. There by possible learning something from the puzzle as well as enjoying solving it. This is something a little different and hopefully a little quick fun.
Below are three chess positions from previous games posted on my blog. Please capture the Queens and reply with a rating for each queen captured (1 to 5). One being the easiest.
CAPTURE THE QUEEN
Position One
White to move first!
Then Black Queen captures white Knight at b1
Position Two
White to move
Position Three
White queen to capture black bishop at f6
Here I think the task should be a little bit more clear.
For example in position 1 it is very easy for white to win, IF he already knows that black will take the knight at b1 ... But black is not forced to do that ...
Position 2 is an easy win for white after 1. Nc3+ or also 1. Nf6+.
In position 3 there is no bishop at f6. Your mistake is to have placed the white pawns at rank 7 instead of rank 2 (and reversed) ... see it? :)
Well your evaluations are much better than the problems (lol). Maybe a little more effort next time.
