Playing 3 minute blitz is popular among chess websites like lichess and chess.com. It gives quick pleasure to chess players who want to play several games in a day. However, blitz games doesn't give us much time to strategize. We have to rely on our familiarity of the position and certain themes to win games. Moves will come naturally leading to faster moves and put pressure on the opponent.
Minority Attack
The plan was to push my a and b pawns to give my opponent a weak pawn in the Q side which I can attack later. Having a target to focus on will make finding moves easier. I was winning but I missed an important tactic (23. ...Rxc3!) which could have won at once. My opponent countered with a K side attack of his own. Later, he gave up his Knight in error because he thought there was a back rank mate tactic butmy Bishop was defending the f8 square.
