Runescape 3 Jack of Trades is Better Than Lamping

One of the benefits of an RS3 restricted account over an OSRS one is that xp in untrainable skills is much more consistent. Each day the Jack of Trades can be used to claim a reward book Xuan, Dilwyn, or Wafa, which gives a decent amount of experience, more than either a genie lamp or a book of knowledge. Having daily access to an xp reward can really make skilling grinds more manageable, and removes the random waiting that OSRS lamping has. There are a few cons to the aura though, the first of which being the relatively few NPCs which can give the reward book. Outside of Burthorpe, Varrock, Menaphos, and Priffdinas, the aura can not be used on area restricted accounts without an exception being made. The other chief drawback of the jack of trades aura is the amount of time required to earn the loyalty points required for the aura, which takes a minimum of four months to accumulate, and cannot currently be sped up. This is not four months of playtime, and if you are financially able, could create an account a few months in advance, then play after accumulating the points, or even use the RS3 account which is connected to an OSRS account, since the same membership applies to both accounts. Despite those drawbacks, I think being able to consistently earn experience over having to wait at inconvenient intervals makes the aura the better option in my opinion.
