Ramping it up , like a "good" post a day could give some boost in growth .
Not easy , as one has to come up with a "good" work (writing or art)(or both) to keep readers attracted to your streak of post's . And as we all know most of us have boring dull lives where nothing ever happen's . Being creative can't be forced .

Some think that the life i live is a big failure , for it got me nowhere .
Still way better then the last few , rattled down at Omaha beach and many other war disasters before where i left my flesh to rot and feed the worm's after a short and explosive existence . ;-)
Then again , how to give advice without the experience of failure .
Take two people , and choose one for the job .
Person one never did this job ever .
person two did but failed .
Still person two is the one with the most experience , logic and chance tells me person two will have better odd's on completing the job . While most people will not give person two an other go at it .
You can look all you want at someones success , you will probably learn nothing . Look at there failures and you will learn a lot . Look at Biden , trying hard to hide his stumble on the airplane stairs the bugger tripped twice right after . Remember that when you hide your shit it will come hunt you down one day .
Hive is SOCIAL media , means interaction and engagement , post and then wait for others to lift you up without ever engaging or interacting with others , it will not work . believe me , i have tried . ;-)
