Edith Cushing of "Crimson Peak" 🖤 My Character Drawing
Featured Author: @extractum-lunae

@extractum-lunae shows us the inspiration and creative process behind this amazing art piece. The light of the candles in combination with the gold makes this drawing magical.
It seems that I again turned out to be a "gothic" selection, but I could not get past the "Crimson Peak," which fascinates and inspires each with its own frame!
For a long time I could not choose a character, but still settled on the frightened Edith. This light from candles, the atmosphere of a dark castle, something dark and evil, this charming defenselessness and fear that settled in the eyes of the main character is just magical!
Black and White experimental PhotographyFeatured Author: @mrf83

Enjoy the black and white experimental photography @mrf83 has shown us today. Take a closer look at the details, crows, and even the currents on the river, all depicting perfect scenery for photography enthusiasts.
Today we went on a bike trip to a nearby Monastery and i took the opportunity to shoot some Black and White Pictures. The pictures came out quite experimental and artistic. So i decided to share my favorite shots of to day with you.
As we continued our way back we had to cross a relatively wide River over a bridge with a barrage which produce a very strong current. A perfect time to play around with long exposure pictures.
Aiguille de Bionnassay, an adventure in the AlpsFeatured Author: @ilvime79

Are you ready for an icy adventure? Hope you had plenty of rest because a good view and amazing shots often mean just a few hours of sleep. But, getting photos like these ones is absolutely worth the trouble.
In this post I want to show you an adventure I had a few years ago (2014), at that time I spent a lot of time in the Alps, climbing ice falls during winter and many peaks during summer. In autumn and spring, I usually did rock climbing and trekking, for fun with friends and training.
If you want to be a mountaineer, you have to be willing to sleep three hours a night! So at midnight we descended a steep slope and we approached the glacier. For these kind of routes, it’s important to leave very early.
Piranesi by Susanna Clarke - Recent Release Fiction ReviewFeatured Author: @mrobinsonwrites

This author takes us on a deep and inviting review of a new book. It’s intriguing and leaves much to the imagination so make sure to follow @mrobinsonwrites for more updates and gems like this one.
"Piranesi's House is no ordinary building: its rooms are infinite, its corridors endless, its walls lined with thousands upon thousands of statues. Within the labyrinth of halls an ocean is imprisoned; waves thunder up staircases, rooms are flooded in an instant."
Beyond the introduction, the bounds of the world quickly begin to unravel. We question the Other's motives, the existence of more people in the world, the relationship between Piranesi and the House, and all of it is revealed in a series of roundabout twists and turns that border on the sharp edge of meditatively hypnotic, never expected and yet always, I felt as though all of the pieces were falling into place exactly as they were meant to be.
Photographing Marino Ballena National ParkFeatured Author: @mibreit-photo

Last, but certainly not the least @mibreit-photo takes us on a traveling adventure discovering Marino Ballena National Park and so much more. Enjoy the amazing shots and the interesting story.
An hour south of Manuel Antonio National Park via bus or car lies another beautiful national park. The Marino Ballena National Park is located near Uvita and stretches between Playa Hermosa in the north and Playa Pinuela in the south. As the name suggests, it is mostly a marine park that was created as a safe haven for humpback whales as they travel through this area during their yearly migrations.
Uvita has many little restaurants, which offer a varied selection of food, including some nice vegetarian or vegan options. As I wrote above, we usually cooked our own meals to stay within our budget. If you eat out, you can plan anywhere between 15 and 30 USD for two persons per meal. And if you have to do it trice a day, this can add up quickly.
