My first Snowshoe Hike and Patterns in the Snow

When you look at these landscapes Florian captured, it's hard to tell whether it's snow covered moutain or a whipped cream decoration on the cake. Incredible details and layers and nice cyan tint in the shadows.

A year ago, I did my first snowshoe hike with a friend in the German region called 'Allgäu'. For starters, it was a not too hard hike and despite the harsh daylight, the view and scenery was beautiful.

Lightpainters of our community have been fascinating us with their amazing creations and now they welcomed the super-talented new member. Here Marla shows her process of coming up with stories, choosing colors and working with models during the location shoot.

Sometimes when I'm photographing a place, I have several ideas that can build on each other. Occasionally such ideas develop over time. Then there can be years between the individual photos.
The next series is an example for storytelling.

@shinecrystalline has picked up some great recipes for Kimchi from her time in Korea. This version that she enhanced by introducing few twists and additions looks absolutely delicious. And we all know about many health benefits of this popular dish.

🇰🇷 Kimchi is a traditional Korean dish with salted fermented vegetables and commonly contained with Napa Cabbage, radish, onions, spring onions, sugar, salt, chili flakes, garlic and ginger.

In this beautiful presentation from pixaroma he shows us step by step how he designed the 3D heart creation in a steampunk style. From sketch, to vector illustration, to designing the 3D model and finally testing samples on the laser machines.

I started with a sketch on my Samsung Tab S6 tablet using the app Painter
I have to think of each layer in 2d and imagine how it would look in 3d and to create depth and also all the parts of the layer to be united

This is our first adventure in 2022 ( Hiking to Velika Planina )

2022 will be the year of adventures, at least for Sabina. Like she says, if you don't make plans, like will make them for you which is very true. This was their first hiking of the year, on the "Big Mountain" of Slovenia. Views are breathtaking from the mountain side and it looks like it was tons of fun judging by the video.

Yay, that is our first adventure this year. I am super happy and super grateful.
I feel this year will be a year of adventure. Maybe I feel like that because I already planned adventures for a couple of months in advance.
