DETERMINATION PRODUCE SUCCESS

Hello Hive friends!
This is my first time of posting here, writing about determinations as one of the keys that leads to my success.I will say that determinations means the act of being determine, the ability of trying to do something even if it is difficult.
It happens that I was not successful educationally, during my junior secondary school time.when I entered SS1 first term,the spirit of not being serious was still in me.i was not reading,I was thinking that I can do it with out studying but not knowing that I was fooling my self.when the result of that term came out i was a failure I took 24th position out of 30 people.When I got home I was asked to show my result ,and I was ashamed because I failed .But I don't have chioce than to bring my result, I brought the result to my guidance ,they were disappointed at me ,and I was embarrassed.That night I did not sleep I was crying and blaming my self of being lazy.But I said to my self that next section will be my term of rejoicing and I prayed and believe in God .I always say to myself that I can do it through Christ that straighten me and that prayer helped me alot.
Vacation has ended,and were asked to resume 2nd term I was determine to come out with excellent result and God saw me through.
The first step I took was that as we resume, I started studying immediately.I did not wait for test or examinations, I was studying to know it and not to pass exams .I asked questions and give tangible contributions in class ,I aviod unserious friends and make good friends that love education .When it was time for us to write test I was not struggling to study again. I was happy because I have studied. When the test score was out i was among the best, in mathematics I score highest to the extent that I was sellected to represent my class in mathematics competition.Everyone was surprise that a failure is now a success. Am a night reader, if I come back from school by 3pm ,I do my house chores around 8pm am done with everything both resting and my work.then I will start to read till the next day , I will prepare and go to school.It was not easy but I was happy that I will see the result of my determinations and hard-work. My brain was like wow because I can now think and write without depending on anyone for assistance.we wrote exams and when the result came out,it was on our school party day , after dancing, eating and having fun . everyone was asked to meet their class teacher ,I was still with my friend thinking about my result and a boy came saying that my class teacher is looking for me and I was afraid.and i got courage and went , when I got their he was like are you the one ,I was confused and he called my name and I said am the one . Congratulations you took 2nd position and I was happy to see the result of my hardwork.
When I got home i showed my guidance before they ask me of my result.they were proud of me and they bought gifts for me like new school bag , wristwatch etc and I was happy about everything, at least I can boldly tell someone my position.
In conclusion,I will say that any achievement i want to acomplish I must determine in order for it to be a success.
