AN EMPTY BARREL MAKES THE LOUDEST NOISE

One day in my class when I was in jss3 there was a student named Jessica . she was intelligent and was loved by all her teachers and class mates .

Though she wasn't that active in class discussions but did a good performance in her school activities. There was another boy named Timothy. He wasn't that good in academics but always shows off in class and saying he was better than Jessica, he also makes fun of Jessica's silent nature and pulled her for verbal wars many times. Although Timothy was always boasting but Jessica was never bothered by his childish behaviours. she always tried to behave herself and didn't mind him so during our class vacation everyone was contemplating on where to go and Timothy said that everyone is afraid of the rollercoaster that is why we don't want to visit the amusement park in ShopRite so Jessica and her friends said that they are not afraid of anything and everyone in the class also said so including me so we went to the principal's office the next day and told him where we would like to go to for our short vacation as a class and the principal told the director of our school. so they told us to prepare that they would take us to the amusement park the next day so the next day every one was later dressed up in their elegant clothes so we boarded the school bus to the amusement park when we got to the amusement park we purchased our ticked so Timothy was bragging how the rollercoaster ride doesn't scare him so when all of us entered the rollercoaster and it started moving and accelerating Timothy started shouting how he is scared and tired of the ride so when he came down from the ride he was laughed at by all his class mates. so when school resumed they had a civic education quiz coming up the next Monday. On monday, during the civic education period there was a quiz held. Both Jessica and Timothy were in different teams. Timothy's team was getting easy questions but Timothy was the first one to shout out the answer without discussing with his team mates. And all the answers he provided were wrong. In the other hand, Jessica was confident about all the answers but discussed with her team mates and gave them a chance after they had discussed and they got most of the questions the teacher had asked them.
The first question asked by the teacher to Jessica's team was; 'How many states are there in Nigeria?'. Though she knew the answer she discussed with her team mates and confidently answered: " thirty-six". Jessica's team gets one point. Next question to Timothy's team was; 'What is the capital of Nigeria?' Timothy impatiently shouted the the answer saying: 'abia state'. The answer was wrong, so all his teammates shouted at him. But still in the next round he didn't change his behavior and eventually lost all the questions and lost the quiz.
At the end of the quiz, his teammates walked up to him in frustration and said to him; "it's obvious now that the empty barrel makes the loudest noise"
