HI HIVEANS

Last week was a pretty tough one for me. I didn't have the brute force of creating anything, and my body failed me. Of course, I had ideas of what to paint, and it wasn't an art block, but I pointed out. My whole body was on fire; it needed rest, and I couldn't recognize it.
I guess I'm fine now. So, I decided to finish this piece. I called it evolution because that's what is happening.
She's evolving to something smarter, sharper. But, it affected the shape of her head, and If you ask me why? I will tell you I don't know.
Tell me what you think...I'll be glad to hear your thoughts.
TOOLS:
Huion graphic tablet
Adobe photoshop
Hp laptop
PROCESS:
I started by using a rough brush to create a silhouette of her.

Then, I delved into putting in layers of shapes and colors. This is the coolest part of the whole painting.

Here, I started strengthening the shapes and blending them together.

Then more blending and detailing. As you can see, something great is about to happen.

However, I decided to revisit the background. If it's going to evolve, the background; that's the source has to change too. That's what happened.

Her chin slid down and her head went high.

It became more sharper here.

And more sharper. That's the end of evolution.

I love the looseness of your work. Sometimes I find computer work a bit to polished but you knew exactly when to stop.
Thanks @ammonite
I always aim at making them look traditional.
That's why I use alot of textures while painting.

I clicked because I love her silhouette! And looking at your post I am amazed how you initially started with a more natural face shape and just stylized here and there to take it to a whole different level. And I also love how you slipped a bit of color here and there to make the whole thing more vibrant.
Thanks so much @nanawawa. That's the evolution I'm talking about.

I love it! I wish I could do this kind of digital work if I had a digitizing tablet. It's pretty much the style I'm practicing, but at the sketch level in traditional
