Is there a future in cryptoart?

These are my latest cryptoart drops at #makersplace. One way to figure out how this works and what the collectors are really looking for. Scrutinizing some of these collections I couldn't find the answer yet as it looks mostly like some kind of mish mash to me...but I'm not in the collectioners head...
The upload platform being the only filter between artist and buyer, once that you're admitted, anything goes and that's what it looks like. I still think there's a future in all this and being something very new one should wait and work with it.

"Let's See"
This is one of my favorite quotes: THE BETTER YOU LOOK THE MORE YOU SEE -
At first sight it tells the obvious, the closer you have a look at something the more you might discover…but in a second more ironic reading it also means that your
chances of being shown around are bigger if you are good looking. The artwork is my illustration to this point of view.

"Toxic Fish"
Underwater world never cease to surprise us. And what is more, there are still a lot of unknown species waiting to be discovered. This "sceletus morbicus »
shown here changed from plankton eating specie to one that made a habit of eating plastic remains that he finds easily in the ocean. Note that by doing so, his
appearance changed quite a bit, but nevertheless his kind is becoming more and more popular.

"The last Bouquet"
Could it be that our fear of death attracts us to the visualization of skulls and that way we exorcise the anxiety? And also skulls might be popular as decoration
because they are one of the few socially acceptable ways to address death.
