RE: Renaissance - sand sculpture

Oh brother, you are at the same place I am. I am now watching the younger folks and waiting to see that point when they realize that that shit don't matter. (pun sort of intended) I like to think it's an age thing but I just had a moment with a 67 year old at the dump. He told me that there is no such thing as Covid and when I explained to him that I have had it twice, he told me it was just a cold. Even after I told him that the second time I was coughing so much and so violently that blood was coming up, he still maintains it was just a cold.

I agreed to disagree and went about my day. I hope he doesn't get the cold I had, even though he might think twice about what he "knows". As always, I love the art and was wondering if you scrapped the pile of wires in your attic yet. Probably some good copper in there. ;)

Interestingly I was just at the dump on Saturday also. Luckily the credit card reader was broken and I was allowed to dump everything for free. It was great to get stuff for free as it would have cost €150. I went straight to the Hardware shop and spent my savings on insulation for my attic.
Still have to rewire my attic, unfortunately, my brother who was going to help and knows how has ended up in hospital. I am not sure if there is much copper wire there as my father seemed to use some sort of rubberised steel wire. My plan is to run all the new wires and then get a pro to do the connecting up. After all that is done then on to the insulation. I'm going to be busy. and am documenting as I go.

I have become neutral to most world events as I just don't know what information to trust. This whole War thing is a good example. Now that all opposing views have been censored I can't form an opinion and so prefer to stay out of it and not put a flag next to my name.
My wife caught Covid twice and my son once so I know how real it is but also the official stories have changed so much these last two years I don't know what to believe there either. All I can do is try to take care of my family as best I can and at least in that way I can feel some sort of control.
