Hello friends!
While we are in quarantine, I took an online watercolor course on painting flowers. First of all, I got bold from this training. We were taught not to be afraid of bright colors and draw bright aqurael. I think this effect has been achieved.
For brightness, our teacher asked us to use a watercolor tube, so that the colors are bright.
One of the lessons was about drawing a dandelion. I repeated this lesson for this post, I used dry paints. Each time the result is different

My work will not be complicated in form. I focus on the properties of watercolors to mix and spread on paper. I will build my picture based on these effects. But first, I will mask with a masking liquid the flowers that should remain white.

I use this masking liquid. I cover the subtle details of my picture with this

I dry my painting, because then I will use more water and paint.

I want to show my new watercolor paints. I bought each color separately and made up my palette. I arranged each color in a logical and understandable order for me. Now I remember where and what colors are in the pencil case.

Here I choose the colors that will be in my paint. The colors of the paints should mix well.

Now I wet a sheet of paper with water. I added too much water ... I also started adding blue to my work. It should be dark in the corner and turn into a blue-green gradient

I dried the sheet. Now I wet the sheet in another corner, where I will have a big dandelion.

While the sheet of paper is wet, I begin to draw the middle of the dandelion. These are brown and green stripes, which should slightly blur on a wet sheet. I add some clean water to the edges of the dandelion to make it look fluffy.

I am waiting for my sheet of paper to dry. Next, I remove the masking fluid. And I'm starting to draw the details.

I take my picture off the board and peel off the tape.

La verdad es exelente el dibujo, me agrado, gracias por compartir.
this looks really nice, although i am not an expert in what to paint when you are learning watercolor, but if you are to draw bright things may be you would want to draw flowers with more color variations and have a little wider petals?
Thank you so much! Yes of course! I also plan to paint my favorite poppies and other flowers :)
