Moly me fascinó, me enamoré de los detalles, del globo de los deseos y las flores de loto,cada uno con su significado; esperanza, prosperidad,metas y sueños por cumplir,pureza,entre otros. Percibí un dibujo simbólico. De verdad muy bonito dibujo. Eso me atrapó a participar e intentar en lo posible hacer la interpretación del personaje.
Moly fascinated me, I fell in love with the details, the globe of desires and the lotus flowers, each one with its meaning; hope, prosperity, goals and dreams to be fulfilled, purity, among others. I perceived a symbolic drawing. Really beautiful drawing. That trapped me to participate and try as much as possible to make the interpretation of the character.
A pesar de que tenía la libertad de dibujar a gusto la ilustración del concurso, decidí dejar la mayor parte de la escena y colores del mismo para mantener su esencia. Lo que hice fue adicionar más globos,creando la ilusión para que cada quien pida su deseo.
Although I had the freedom to draw the illustration for the contest, I decided to leave most of the scene and colors of the contest to keep its essence. What I did was to add more balloons, creating the illusion for everyone to make their wish.
Al principio me costó definir qué posición le daría a Moly, puesto que quería dibujar un lago para que se reflejaran las llamas de los globos y para colocar algunas flores de loto.
Ya cuando por fín tuve el boceto definido, realicé el delineado y comencé a pintar cada parte del dibujo por capas,aunque no parezca, me llevó màs tiempo de lo programado.
At first it was hard to define what position I would give Moly, since I wanted to draw a lake to reflect the flames of the balloons and to place some lotus flowers.
When I finally had the sketch defined, I made the delineation and began to paint each part of the drawing in layers, although it doesn't seem like it, it took me longer than I had planned.
Inicié pintando con el pincel acuarela los detalles en el kimono,guantes y velo de Moly, Seguidamente continué con la piel en gris claro. El siguiente paso fue pintar el pasamanos del puente con un color naranja parecido al original.
I started by painting with the watercolor brush the details on Moly's kimono, gloves and veil, then I continued with the skin in light gray. The next step was to paint the handrail of the bridge with an orange color similar to the original.

Luego con el aerógrafo dí luz a los globos, y sombras al arbusto, flores, cielo y lago. No llevaba un orden como tal, pintaba una sección, la dejaba y tomaba otra, así fuí procesando esta ilustraciòn.
Then with the airbrush I gave light to the balloons, and shadows to the bush, flowers, sky and lake. I did not keep an order as such, I painted a section, left it and took another, so I processed this illustration.
Para el cabello use el color azul rey oscuro. Ya en el siguiente paso, definí los ojos y demás detalles del rostro de Moly. En los ojitos use morado en degrade, y le coloque sutiles luces con la ayuda del pincel lápiz, este pincel lo utilicé también para crear las pequeñas estrellas en el firmamento,
For hair, use the color dark king blue. In the next step, I defined the eyes and other details of Moly's face. In the eyes I used purple in degrade, and I put subtle lights with the help of the pencil brush, this brush I also used to create the little stars in the sky,
Así finaliza mi dibujo para este concurso, espero les haya gustado.
