The sky is pink

Hi Hivers, I bring you yet another art of the day and so many things were running in my mind while doing this illustration.

Don’t let anybody tell you sky can only be blue. Don’t let anybody tell you that mermaids don’t exist. Don’t let anybody tell you that you aren’t perfect. Don’t let anybody push you around. Don’t let anybody treat you wrong. Don’t let anybody tell you that you are not a queen because of course you are. Always chin up and shine. Wear that crown of yours with pride.

I simply loved playing with these soft colours. I am glad they worked well together and look balanced. Please support my art journey if you like my art.

The art was done in Procreate. Thank you so much for all the support I have been receiving from this community. It really means a lot to me.

I got a suggestion to post the process too. So here goes some steps of the process for the mermaid. My steps are usually the same. I start with a rough sketch, then block base colours of the parts in different layers, add highlights and shadows and details, then finally work on the background.

I like the intelligence and creativity in an art that can be seen to have a lot of affection. It's like an astral being in a paranormal world, the colors were mixed very well and have given some life to the character.

PS: It would have been great if you could post the process of how you made your art, it would also be ideal to demonstrate its ownership. It's good that you posted the instagram account, but for some curators, I think it's not enough. Greetings @sunayanasai!
