RE: Where do thoughts come from? Where do they go? ( This is my 100th painting of 2021, I'm attempting to make a painting everyday this year)

I don’t know what to say about this other than I like it. It doesn’t speak to me per-say , but rather nods respectfully as if to say we don’t need to speak just for the sake of it.

Maybe that’s why I like it. A lot of art demands you form an opinion of it. Wether it’s the color scheme, style, brushstrokes, or of course the subject (or lack there of), It’s intended to invoke feelings. This gives permission to have them without expecting anything. I’m getting a good neutral energy off of it. I’m digging that.

I was thinking alot about the nature of consciousness and universal mind...I get stuck in a feedback loop when I start thinking about thinking.

Man I spent a couple of years pretty heavy into evolutionary psychology and the concept of consciousness and the layers upon layers of chemical and electrical actions and reactions it takes for a thought to originate (if that term can even be appropriately applied) is confounding. I’m not convinced consciousness is even really a thing anymore. lol
