Thinking about the sea and the fishes (oil on paper)

Hello hivers, I'm back here again because the artwork I started this morning is finally done and now it's drying, so, as I promise in my previous content, now I can share with you the final result!

The idea for this one came to me thanks some works painted by my hubby @paolobeneforti . Since a lot of years he uses to paint some funny surrealistic fishes on some of his paintings, little fishes swimming over cities and different landscapes or just in a corner of the piece. Thinking about those little fishes, I decided to try to paint some long, simple blue fishes around the body of one of my usual female characters and, to be honest, I really like the final result!

This piece is an oil painting on 200 gsm paper in A4 size, but I'd like to paint a similar one also on a larger canvas with more details and so I'll do it in the next weeks.
Like I use to do every time I paint a new artwork, I took some pics while I was painted her on my small working table so you can see the steps of the process too:
