Inside an envelope: thinking about the sea (mixed media on paper)

An happy Monday to you all!
The new working week started with a rain storm soon in the morning and I drank the first cup of coffee of my day in front of my window watching the raindrops run on the glass. My furry friend Richy watched for a little those raindrops and he decided it was the perfect weather to sleep on the sofa instead to sleep under the plum tree in my backyard (smart old boy! ^_^ ).

Watching all the water falling down from the sky I thought about fishes. My imagination is always ready to work on funny, colorful worlds and so I had fun creating a new little scenes using my colors on an handmade envelope (to make it I used an old page of book) and on some scraps of paper.
In the following pic, you can see the final result:

As you know, I love to upcycle the part of the old destroyed books I collected thanks some friends and relatives and since a couple of months I started to work on them during my pauses from other artworks.
I also love to image funny little scenes and to create them thanks my brushes and colors, I know my customers love them to make little gifts to friends or just to image different stories by themselves.
For this one I used acrylic colors, oil colors and white ink on different kind of paper and, like I use to do, I took some pics while I was painted them so you can see the process:
