Hola amigos de Hive!

He is Homero Simpson, a fictional character, being one of the main components of a well-known cartoon television series called The Simpsons, in which he represents the father of the main family. I decided to do this typographic illustration of Homer because I wanted to try this technique and this series was an important factor in my childhood.

ÉL es Homero Simpson, un personaje ficticio, siendo uno de los principales componentes de una conocida serie de televisión de dibujos animados llamada Los Simpson, en la que representa al padre de la familia principal. Decidí hacer esta ilustración tipográfica de Homero porque quería probar esta técnica y esta serie fue un factor importante en mi infancia.

I want to show you a little bit as was the process of making this illustration.

• The first thing I did was you draw the face and the typical white shirt that can not be missing, with this you can have a guide of where the typography was going to be placed.

Quiero mostrarles un poco como fue el proceso de hacer esta ilustración.

• Lo primero que hice fue dibujar la cara y la típica camisa blanca que no puede faltar, con esto pude tener una guía de dónde se iba a colocar la tipografía.

• After having this in place I started placing the typography deforming it so that it would be in the position that needed it at my convenience shaping the character.

• Después de tener esto en su lugar comencé a colocar la tipografía, deformándola para que estuviera en la posición que lo necesitaba a mi conveniencia dando forma al personaje.

• To finish, place a black background to highlight the yellow font that is the character's skin color, adding the latest white details to the ear and hair.

• Para terminar, coloque un fondo negro para resaltar la tipografía amarilla que es el color de la piel del personaje, añadiendo los últimos detalles blancos a la oreja y el cabello.
