Fear and Loathing in LV Fan made poster! [+Process]

Hello there hive people, i hope you guys are doing good!
I've been exploring the world around and been thinking about things i could do get back to the digital painting using some movie inspirations and this is the first one.
Fear and loathing in Las Vegas.

Great movie, we all should watch again and again through out the years.
I also will show you the whole process i did to get to this result.

This is the scene i used as inspiration:

i started giving some colour and sketching some lines

painted roughly inside the lines using the image as a colour reference. i want the style to look like classic comics so i'll use just a few colours.

Then i added the classic graphic shadows and some white so we have a little more contrast in the composition. I like to add the contrasts so i can understand better the perspective i'm creating.

It's a poster, so it also need the Title of the movie.
I did it very roughly in a good colour and it came out like this:

So i did another one over it and added some crazy splatters of ink to give it some chaotic motion:

With these new colours in the composition i added some lines to make it whole as a unit.

added the squares for geometrical composition

And to give it the real taste of the comics i added some crunchy paper texture

I hope you guys enjoy it as much as i did as i was drawing, because sometimes it's fun to remember good movies!
I'm always looking for good movies and trying to get the best of them,
Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas is a great movie to enjoy with your friends, not with your family LOL, a lot of substance abuse and funny characters along the journey. Definitely a must watch!
