Boat on the beach: Watercolor painting

I don't think this textured paper does justice to landscape paintings. Not very happy with it.. but it's ok .. have to finish this pad 🙄

Base layer and sketch

Boat was not there in the reference image. So I had to make it up.

Second stage:

Was almost done with this but then decided to work a bit more on clouds. The blue of sky gets patchy with this paper despite lot of pigments😔

Final:
Added some more shadow to cloud, boat and and the waves on beach
