Today, I suddenly wanted to create a banner for comments on the hive. Immediately make a reservation that I was inspired by the work of the Hungarian artist @ agneslaczo whom I met on Steem. It’s a pity that she left the blockchain.
We are faced with a scene. King with his retinue examines a strange bird. The king asks the bird to say hello. The bird asks the king (whale) upvote. It always seemed funny to me.

I could not master drawing on a digital tablet. Therefore, I draw on paper, the old fashioned way. First, I outline the outlines of the characters and the overall composition. Then using a fountain pen I give the characters their characteristic features and other details. Everything starts as usual with a white sheet of paper. Below are several stages of the drawing process.

There is something magical about this when new characters are born on paper. I call it an easy drug of creativity.

Now it's time to transfer the drawing from paper to Photoshop

As a child, I planned to become an animator artist. I dreamed of creating cartoons. Unfortunately, I didn’t have enough will and maybe I didn’t have enough talent, I don’t know. But life often does not work out the way we dream.

Sincerely yours
