Here is the second piece in my Boxing Shadows series for an upcoming group exhibition dedicated to visual poetry. I have played around with this idea before and was glad to have a good excuse to come back to it to again. A tiny figure made from copper wire stands at the prow of a gold leaf walnut shell boat, on a sea of dried hydrangea petals, and the poem below. It is super hard to photograph as it's really meant to be held in your hand, but you'll get the gist. One of the upsides of the exhibition is some decent photos will come from it. I'll add a link to them when they eventuate.
A list of things I have been
Shadow
shell
crater lake
Horizon
cage
and life raft.
