Strange Creatures: Robot Moose

You know how sometimes you have this urge to draw something, but you sit in front of the paper and blankly stare at it as you can’t quite figure out what it is you wish to subject to the poking of a pencil or a brush? I happened to find myself in that spot and remembered the prompts from Inktober. They are quite helpful as they set a theme for each day for the entire month to draw. So I stumbled on this list that someone had made inspired by the Inktober prompts which sparked my interest. Creature feature? What? What a cool idea, I thought. Therefore, I decided to make my lists and do my take on it!

I made a list of 11 animals and another list of 11 things that are to become part of the animal. Essentially I am creating 11 strange looking hybrid animals at random. The first pick was 11 Moose and 3 Robot, so the moose robot was born! I giggled hard when I turned the two papers over revealing what I was about to create xD Out of all the options and combinations the moose robot wasn’t the first thing I would have imagined in my mind, which I find is the fun part too!

I went for the grey tones as it probably is built out of metal and looks a bit gloomy, doomy, and post-apocalyptic with the antennas as horns engulfed in steam, and Hive bleeding red cylon eyes. What do you think? I am so happy with the result and this animal crossing, haha!

Would you like to help me pick the next strange creature? I have committed to creating 11 in total, for now. Numbers 11 for animals and number 3 for the thing have been taken. Pick one number from each list and write it down in the comment section. I will write down all the names of the participants and pick the winner at random before working on the new tiny painting based on the chosen numbers.
