I do not believe that a true painter "has to be hungry." (from)
Since this is my profession, I have to earn a living for it (preferably with butter)), of course, not forgetting about creativity "for the soul."
But creativity also needs money, so I do not refuse to draw portraits to order.
For example, men from a reputable company decided to surprise their female colleagues in the form of their portraits in unusual, romantic images. They contacted me and brought photos.
Then my fantasy worked, because I know that every woman in her heart wants to be a princess or queen (based on age)). Last but not least, a duchess.
I tried to pick up the attire and image for all the ladies as accurately as possible, in the end everyone was satisfied. Ladies - with their portraits, men - a good gift, I - a good fee.
Since there are 10 portraits, I will break it into 2 parts, when there are a lot of images, the viewer gets tired and perceives them worse.

Yup, and it shows, too. This is truly beautiful work! The only problem with it is, it bums me out... I have started painting only two years ago, dabbling in watercolor, gouache, and soft pastel strictly as a hobby. Your art shows me how far I still have to go, hence the bumming out. :-)
Cheers from Germany - Folker
P.S. The floral in the background looks exquisite as well.
I started drawing 60 years ago )) So everything is ahead of you )) Thank you for the feedback, it's nice
