I know what you are thinking, there are a THOUSAND of these retro looking illustrations these days, but hey I thought I'd have a shot at it, using my own little twist.
As you might have noticed, my strength is not really modeling but rather texturing. Procedural texturing. I loose myself in the zone when I create macrotiles/microtiles, when I try to copy the look of wood or snow using only nodes, textures and mathematical operations. I guess most of that passion comes from the way Ive learned Blender, similar to the way #cgmatter ( #defaultcube ) and the other node wizards present it.
Anyways, my most recent discovery was inspired by the cross-hatching texture made by #cgmatter that I have refined. I thought to myself "wait a minute, what if instead of having this crosshatching texture reacting to the amount of light present in the scene from 0 to 1, I could use other geometrical forms found/created in Blender node editor, and turn it into a retro looking thingy?
So here it is, the retro looking thingy, with a dot art material. Hope you enjoy!
Who cares, I love this one. Good job :)
Thanks! :)

In 💕 with it. This be the first time I seen any thing like that
. not understanding what you use like to. . online or materials
Thanks so much :) I use Blender as a software, and I make my own materials!
very cool, could you explain more how you did it? :)

The modeling isnt as crazy as it looks. The car is a model Ive owned for a while, the floor is basically just a plane subdivided, sculpted and then I added a wireframe on it.
The graphic kind of look on all the materials is basically a bunch of masks made using mathematical operation in Blender. If you are into nodes, it really isnt that complex :)
I'm into Bitcoin nodes.. :D :P
a Bitcoin B would also be cool on that sun :D
This looks amazing! I've always wanted to create a somewhat retro design but I wanted to do everything on my own without using the basic foreground for free as a download, so I haven't really tried it yet.
The shading, color dynamic, and the dotting (forgot the term for it) is amazingly crafted.
Thanks! :D
