2016 vs 2020 | First Portrait Using Graphite | First Portrait Using Watercolor|

Hello Everyone, Look what I've found! While I was cleaning my room and sorting my things, I've found some of my old portrait drawings. Proud of myself because I'd really improved a lot in drawing. Ever since I was a kid, I'm so fond at drawing. At first, all that I do was drawings of cartoons and anime characters. I'm really not into drawing portraits because I find them difficult to do. It was year 2016 when I tried drawing portrait. I didn't expect the result, my relatives and friends said that it was good. It makes me glad that their comments where positive. After that I do more drawings of portraits.

This portrait was made year 2016, it was my first Graphite Drawing. My graphite pencils then were 3H, 3B, 4B, 5B, 7B and 8B.

Now, this is my first 2020 colored portrait using watercolor. It was done using Prang Watercolor on Fabriano Watercolor paper. I actually shared the work in progress of this, view it here.

From black and white portrait to colored portrait, with the same model, Taylor Swift. Four years gap. So proud of myself that I didn't give up in practicing drawing.
