I spent a good part of my day navigating the endless Lagos traffic. Amid the chaos and honking horns, inspiration struck. I found myself reflecting on one of my favorite paintings from the past and decided to craft a poetry piece about it.
In a world where shapes embrace the skies,
A story unfolds, where the spirit lies.
Fragments of blue, of gold, and green,
A kaleidoscope of dreams yet unseen.
The sun whispers secrets in warm, bold hues,
While the winds hum melodies of softened blues.
Curves and angles, a delicate dance,
A tapestry woven with fleeting chance.
Swirls of white like whispers untold,
Patterns of life in a dance so bold.
The earth stretches wide, a rhythmic song,
Boundless and free, where all belong.
This canvas sings of unity, of love,
Of journeys below and the heavens above.
A fusion of moments, a symphonic delight,
A beacon of hope, a radiant light.
