RE: my first NFT "Interstellar Guidance"

in OnChainArt4 years ago (edited)

Straight up. I'm intrigued by NFTs but still wrapping my brain around use cases. This is an interesting piece ... but.

How is this work viewed? (yeah, it's on a screen, it's digital after all). But, how is this experienced? A piece that's meant to be on a wall is different than something postage stamp sized,

Ok. I'm rambling. I have a lot of pieces and ideas that I would like to make into NFTs but I'm still struggling on how it's used; displayed; and experienced.

Sort:

well there is a lot of potential and uses, check this book "The New Aesthetic and Art: Constellations of the Postdigital" by Scott Contreras-Koterbay and Lukasz Mirocha
if you want to know more about experiences in digitalart(pre nft)

thx. I'll take a look. I have millions of pages of sketches (ok that's a bit of an exaggeration); hundreds of digital only pieces - but now what. :)

Do viewers think of them as baseball card type collections. Will we have VR living rooms which display our NFTs? I guess I'll have to take a look at that book.

Hey. It's a free download! So much the better.
