A veces todos necesitamos un lugar feliz donde ir en busca de una fantasía, un lugar donde sólo estamos nosotros con nuestros pensamientos, esta es mi fantasía un bosque encantado con casas de hojas, lagos mágicos y duendes o hadas que llenan el lugar con su magia. Bienvenidos a mi fantasía.

La vida es una hermosa melodía a veces con notas altas y a veces notas muy bajas, este trabajo de pintura digital lo he realizado durante los últimos 4 días aprovechando que he recobrado un poco mi fuerza física mientras guardo mi reposo por el covid-19. Si yo me sentía entre una de las bendecidas que tras 2 años de pandemia no había contraído covid-19 sin embargo un rápido viaje de trabajo a la ciudad de Bogota en Colombia y zassss contraje el virus, aun así me siento afortunada ya que tanto yo como mi esposo así como mi papá y mi hermano menor a quien contagiarnos nos estamos recuperando bastante bien.

Life is a beautiful melody sometimes with high notes and sometimes very low notes, this work of digital painting I have done during the last 4 days taking advantage that I have recovered a little my physical strength while I keep my rest for the covid-19. Yes I was one of the blessed ones that after 2 years of pandemic I had not contracted covid-19 however a quick work trip to the city of Bogota in Colombia and zassssss I contracted the virus, even so I feel lucky because both me and my husband as well as my dad and my younger brother who got it we are recovering quite well.

Un trabajo peculiar / A peculiar job

Como algunos saben soy Asesor Turístico básicamente mi trabajo consiste en asesorar al cliente que desea viajar, indicarle cuáles son las leyes migratorias del país que desea visitar, así como las de nuestro país, documentos, visas, ofrecerle el mejor paquete de viaje, incluido boletos, seguro de viajes hotel hasta incluso el servicio de taxi si así lo requiere, en nuestra agencia realizamos incluso el cheking online del pasajero antes de abordar el avión, además de que mantenemos contacto con el cliente en todo momento para asegurarnos que nuestros clientes tengan la mejor experiencia de viaje.

Básicamente esa es una pequeña descripción de mi empleo, mi trabajo normalmente finaliza cuando el pasajero pisa tierra y me envía un mensaje diciendo “ya llegué a mi destino, excelente servicio” esas palabras quieren decir que ya me puedo desconectar de ese pasajero. Sin embargo en el mes de noviembre recibí un mensaje muy diferente a los que normalmente recibo de parte de mis clientes, el mensaje decía algo así como: Hola Ber como estas soy Juli sabes que mi jefa tiene a su hija en Venezuela y desea traerse a la niña a vivir acá a Madrid junto con ella, ya hacen 4 años que no se ven, necesito me cotices el boleto aéreo, contactes al abogado para que gestiones los permisos de viaje, los mandes a hacer ah y algo más ella quiere que tu misma seas quien haga de tutor legal de la niña, lleves a la niña al aeropuerto, la entregues en la aerolínea y ella la recibe aquí.

As some of you know I am a Tourist Advisor, basically my job is to advise the client who wants to travel, tell him what are the immigration laws of the country he wants to visit, as well as those of our country, documents, visas, offer the best travel package, including tickets, travel insurance, hotel and even cab service if required, in our agency we even do the online checking of the passenger before boarding the plane, plus we keep in touch with the client at all times to ensure that our customers have the best travel experience.

However in the month of November I received a message very different from the ones I normally receive from my clients, the message said something like this: Hello Ber how are you I'm Juli you know that my boss has her daughter in Venezuela and wants to bring the girl to live here to Madrid with her, it's been 4 years since they have seen each other, I need you to quote me the airline ticket, contact the lawyer to manage the travel permits, send them to do ah and something else she wants you yourself to be the legal guardian of the girl, take the girl to the airport, deliver it to the airline and she receives it here.

Mmmmm como explicarlo, si yo se que hay muchos niños que viajan solos con el servicio de aeromoza, en muchas oportunidades he vendido boletos para menores, pero yo hacer de niñera y acompañar a la niña hasta el aeropuerto eso jamás me lo habían pedido, pero es una de mis clientes más antiguas así que acepté. Sin embargo cuando acepte no tome en cuanta un pequeño tecnicismo que cambiaría por completo los planes, para ese momento acá en Venezuela la única aerolínea autorizada a viajar hasta España era Turkish Airlines esta hace escala en Estambul y luego sigue a Madrid, en nuestro país los menores de edad no pueden viajar en vuelos con escalas con servicio de acompañante, la única opción era que la niña saliera desde Bogota en un vuelo directo a España. Ese pequeño tecnicismo cambió por completo la situación, así fue como me embarque en un viaje de 7 días hasta Bogota para que esta pequeña se reencontrará con su madre después de 4 años, y si así también fue como me contagie de covid.

Mmmmm how to explain it, I know that there are many children who travel alone with the flight attendant service, in many opportunities I have sold tickets for minors, but I have never been asked to babysit and accompany the girl to the airport, but she is one of my oldest clients so I accepted. However when I accepted I did not take into account a small technicality that would completely change the plans, at that time here in Venezuela the only airline authorized to travel to Spain was Turkish Airlines, this makes a stopover in Istanbul and then continues to Madrid, in our country minors can not travel on flights with stopovers with escort service, the only option was that the girl left from Bogota on a direct flight to Spain. That little technicality completely changed the situation, that's how I embarked on a 7 day trip to Bogota so that this little girl could be reunited with her mother after 4 years, and yes, that's how I also got covid.

Las anécdotas del viaje se las contaré luego, ahora ya saben como es que termine contagiada de covid-19. No voy negar que he tenido días muy malos y fue precisamente en esos días que decidí ponerme a pintar, deseaba distraer mi mente de mi situación por un rato. Cuando empecé a pintar realmente era una tarea titánica ya que me dolían demasiado los brazos, las manos la columna, tenía fiebre muy alta, tos aparte de que los medicamentos me produjeron una inflamación en todo mi aparato digestivo que me producía mucho dolor, sin embargo no me rendí, esa no era una opción y seguí pintando.

I will not deny that I have had very bad days and it was precisely on those days that I decided to start painting, I wanted to distract my mind from my situation for a while. When I started to paint it was really a titanic task since my arms, hands and spine hurt too much, I had a very high fever, cough and the medicines produced an inflammation in my digestive system that caused me a lot of pain, however I did not give up, that was not an option and I kept on painting.

El año pasado realice un dibujo hecho con lápiz de grafito inspirado en una casa de un hada en aquel momento solo lo digitalice y quedó guardado entre mis archivos, ese fue precisamente el boceto que pinté el resultado es el que pueden apreciar en las imágenes. Me siento tan emocionada de volver pintar luego de hacer una pausa de un par de meses y regresar con una fantástica tan pintoresca, que ya esta disponible en @nftshowroom en mi galería en 5 ediciones.

Last year I made a drawing with graphite pencil inspired by a fairy's house, at that time I just digitalized it and it was saved in my files, that was precisely the sketch I painted, the result is the one you can see in the images. I feel so excited to return to painting after a couple of months break and come back with a fantastic one so picturesque, it is already available in @nftshowroom in my gallery in 5 editions
