Story 1: The basement🚪

Lucía had always been afraid to go down to the basement of her house. It was a dark, damp place full of old, dusty things. Her mother told her that there was nothing to fear, that they were just objects that they no longer used and that one day they would put them away. But Lucia didn't believe him. She felt that there was something else, something bad, that was hiding in the shadows.

One day, her mother asked her to go down to the basement to look for a box with some books that she wanted to donate. Lucía refused, but her mother insisted. She told him that she was a big girl and that she couldn't continue being so afraid. She gave her a flashlight and pushed her toward the stairs. Lucía had no choice but to obey. She walked down the steps carefully, illuminating the path with the trembling light. When she reached the back, she saw the shelves full of boxes, suitcases, toys and other junk. She looked for the box that her mother had indicated to her, but she did not find it. She moved closer to the shelves, thinking that maybe she was at the back or in some corner. That's when she heard it. A whisper, almost imperceptible, that came from one of the boxes. Lucia was paralyzed. The whisper became louder, clearer. It was a voice, a child's voice, that said:

  • Help me... Please, help me...

Lucia felt a chill. Who was that child? What was he doing there? What did she want? Lucía gathered her courage and approached the box where the voice came from. She opened it carefully and looked out. Inside was a rag doll, with blonde hair, blue eyes and a sewn-up mouth. Lucia recognized him instantly. It was the doll that her older brother had given her when she was little, and that she had thrown into the basement because she scared her. The doll looked at her intently and repeated:

  • Help me... Please, help me...

Lucía let out a scream and dropped the box. She ran towards the staircase, but before she reached it, she tripped on something and fell to the ground. She hit her head and lost consciousness.

Story 2: The doll🎎

Mateo had always been a naughty and cruel child. He liked to play practical jokes on his classmates, his teachers, and his family. His favorite fun was scaring his younger sister, Lucia, who was very afraid. One day, she gave him a rag doll that he had made himself. It was an ugly doll, with blonde hair, blue eyes and a sewn-up mouth. Mateo told Lucía that he was a magical doll, that he could talk and move, and that he was her friend. But in reality, it was a trap. Mateo had put a microphone and speaker inside the doll, and controlled it from his room with a remote control. Thus, he could make the doll say horrible things to Lucía, like that he was going to kill her, that he hated her, that no one loved her. Lucía was very scared and cried, and Mateo laughed out loud.

One day, Lucía got fed up with the doll and threw it into the basement. Mateo got angry, but didn't say anything. He thought it was a good opportunity to give him the scare of his life. He waited for his mother to ask Lucía to go down to the basement to look for a box with some books. Then, he took the remote control and hid in her room. When he heard Lucía coming down the steps, he turned on the speaker and started whispering:

  • Help me... Please, help me...

Mateo imagined Lucía's terrified face when she heard the doll's voice. He braced himself to hear her scream and laugh at her. But he didn't hear anything. He waited a few seconds, and then repeated:

  • Help me... Please, help me...

But he still didn't hear anything. Mateo became impatient. What was happening? Why didn't Lucía react? Hadn't he heard her voice? Or had he realized it was a joke? Mateo decided to turn up the volume and change the tone. This time, he shouted:

Help me! Please help!

But he didn't hear anything either. Mateo got nervous. Where was Lucia? What had happened to her? Mateo left the remote control and left his room. He went down to the basement to see what had happened. When he reached the bottom, he saw Lucía lying on the ground, unconscious, with blood on her head. Next to her was the box with the doll, which was staring at him with its blue eyes. Mateo felt a chill. The doll told him:

Help me... Please, help me...
