En mi caso quise hacer una mariposa, me gustan bastante, como les había dicho de mi amor por los animales.

In my case I wanted to make a butterfly, I like them very much, as I had told you about my love for animals.

Personalmente me gusta mucho el puntillismo, lo había hecho anteriormente unas cuantas veces en lápiz, con mucho detalle y profundidad o luz, pero todo blanco y negro y por supuesto de la forma tradicional que es manual, pero quise aplicar lo mismo de forma digital, utilizando mi pen y Tablet de diseño, espero que les guste tanto como a mí.

Personally I really like pointillism, I had done it a few times before in pencil, with a lot of detail and depth or light, but all black and white and of course in the traditional way which is manual, but I wanted to apply the same in a digital way, using my pen and Tablet design, I hope you like it as much as I do.

Empecé como todo, con un boceto, hice principalmente la mariposa, me inspiré en una mariposa “tigre de isabella” le hice ciertas líneas al fondo además de hacerle un soporte, ya que quería que la mariposa estuviera posada en una superficie.

I started like everything else, with a sketch, I made mainly the butterfly, I was inspired by a butterfly "isabella's tiger" I made some lines in the background and I also made a support, because I wanted the butterfly to be perched on a surface.

Estas líneas solo servirían de cierta guía, ya que más adelante simplemente las eliminaría ya que se trata de puntos y no líneas la composición.

These lines would only serve as a guide, since later I would simply eliminate them as they are points and not lines in the composition.

Lo primero que hice fue colocar un color de base al ala, para determinar toda el área que utilizaría para ésta y no confundirme entre tantos puntos y colores.

The first thing I did was to place a base color on the wing, to determine the whole area I would use for it and not get confused between so many dots and colors.

Comienzo a hacer el soporte de la mariposa y el fondo, utilicé bastante verde en diferentes tonalidades ya que debería estar en la naturaleza buscando alimentos, agregue a todo esto un poco de rosa en el fondo, dando a entender como un campo de flores a lo lejos, ya que sabemos que es lo que les gusta a ellas.

I start to make the butterfly support and the background, I used a lot of green in different shades since it should be in nature looking for food, I added to all this a little bit of pink in the background, implying a field of flowers in the distance, since we know that is what they like.

También utilice puntos grandes pequeños y medianos para todo el fondo y así diferenciar esta área con la que sería la mariposa.

Also use small and medium sized large dots for the entire background to differentiate this area with what would be the butterfly.

Ya luego de por fin culminar el área del fondo y soporte comencé a hacer los primeros puntos de las alas un tanto más claras que el fondo ya antes nombrado, así le da algo de brillo a la mariposa, haciendo todo con las formas de las franjas parecidas al de ese tipo de mariposas.

After finally finishing the area of the background and support I began to make the first points of the wings a little lighter than the background already mentioned, so it gives some brightness to the butterfly, making everything with the shapes of the stripes similar to that type of butterflies.

Luego punto por punto aplique más color a nuestra hermosa amiga, con blanco y naranja, por toda la parte que serían las franjas, y por las orillas de sus alas que la hacen más llamativas colocando solo el blanco, que resalta muy bien con nuestro fondo marrón y vinotinto claro.

Then point by point apply more color to our beautiful friend, with white and orange, all over the part that would be the stripes, and along the edges of its wings that make it more striking by placing only the white, which stands out very well with our brown and light vinotinto background.

Luego quise continuar con la parte del cuerpo, aplicando un color de fondo tipo crema, para que cada punto que compone su estructura se vea claramente.

Then I wanted to continue with the body part, applying a cream background color, so that each point that composes its structure is clearly visible.

Hice los puntos negros de los ojos y de su probóscide que sería lo que le dicen trompa en la mariposa, luego con blanco hice uno que otro detalle en el brillo del ojo.

I made the black dots of the eyes and its proboscis, which would be what they call trunk in the butterfly, then with white I made some details in the shining of the eye.

Luego con vinotinto oscuro continué haciendo la parte de las patitas y parte de su cuerpo rayado, por supuesto dándole al cuerpo colores parecidos a las alas porque todo debe coincidir, así que aplique blanco y naranja de nuevo en esta área de su cuerpo también haciendo que sigan sus rayas particulares.

Then with dark vinotint I continued making the part of the little legs and part of his body striped, of course giving the body similar colors to the wings because everything must match, so I applied white and orange again in this area of his body also making his particular stripes follow.

Con este mismo vinotinto le hice a nuestra amiguita lo que serían sus venas ya que sabemos que las alas de las mariposas nunca son lisas. Como estas venas por lo general van desde el centro de la mariposa hasta el borde, utilice el mismo color para bordear la mariposa y darle algo de profundidad a la composición.

With this same vinotint I made our little friend what would be her veins since we know that butterfly wings are never smooth. As these veins usually go from the center of the butterfly to the edge, I used the same color to border the butterfly and give some depth to the composition.

Por ultimo las antenitas fueron con vinotinto blanco y uno que otro puntito naranja.

Lastly, the antennae were in white vinotint and a few orange dots.

Aquí les dejo dos imágenes que les muestra de cerca lo que hice en las alas y en el cuerpo, espero que les haya gustado, fue un trabajo algo largo, pero me encantó todo el proceso y más aún el resultado. Amé esta composición completa.
