DBuzz Inspired Sketches - Week 3

in OnChainArtlast year

Welcome to the 3rd week of my Art Practice series. The series where I go to DBuzz for inspiration to practice my art, in doing so, my actual serious art's quality increases.

In week 2, I trained my coloring but this week I almost only focused on Line Art. I also made videos of Basic Form practice sessions. You can find them on 3Speak.

Another thing I should mention is that my time on DBuzz decreased this week, so finding inspiration wasn't very common. Two of these were drawn in one day, while another I drew yesterday which is 8 days after the previous post. (i.e. Not part of the actual week.) I hope I do this with more time to spare next time.

Now, let's begin:

The Sketches:

🖋️ An Old Television

This old CRT TV is inspired by @emafe's photo. It reminded me of our household's CRT TV and how expensive it was. I'm happy for the rush of nostalgia I felt while drawing this, even though it's totally different looking.

You can see the colored version here. I didn't color it at the same time as I drew it.

🖌️ Donut Keychain

The only colored art piece of this week. It's inspired by @projectmamabg's photo of her DIY Project. I did a better job on this drawing than I thought I'd do considering the amount of detail I needed to convey the crochet's wooly structure.

I'm glad it turned out as good as it did!

🖋️ A Dish with Lemons

I really enjoyed drawing the flower decorations on the dish... This is based on @htwegyi's photo. I only drew the line art for this, but I thought I did a great job with the thickness of the lines.

Hmmmm... Now I look at them, these look more like Potatoes than Lemons. I guess this drawing did need coloring, after all.

🖋️ Taking Notes

I was inspired to draw this after I got some advice on making my Email List from @jimmy.adames. [LINK] I always wanted to draw something for him, and this felt like the best opportunity.

This one was quick, the goal wasn't to practice something good, but to make something that conveyed my feelings at the time. Haste, and trying to absorb as much info in as little time as possible.

🖋️ Chocolate Man

Out of these five drawings, this one is my favorite. This is based on AI-generated drawing posted by @esbat. It had a holiday/celebration vibe to it and I knew I had to make a drawing based on it.

This chocolate man turned out really well, I used some of the knowledge I learned while making my Proof of Practice series and I think it shows in the end result that I improved.

I'm also practicing my art every day and posting a series I call "Proof of Practice" that already has three videos for August [6] [7] [8] After all this training I'm completely used to Clip Studio Paint right now. I started learning its specific features, and I hope to draw a Comic/Webtoon with it one day, I pray it's soon. إن شاء الله
