Let's look at another favourite of mine. As always, let's start with a look at the background as this often says a lot about how much lifeblood an artist has put into his work. In this picture you can even see another figure lying on the ground in the background, I wonder if the main figure has something to do with his fainting? Apart from that, it's a nicely drawn beach but without many extras. The background is definitely enough to recognise that the main character is in a volleyball match.
Basically the scene would be rather harmless, a pretty girl in a bikini playing volleyball on the beach is not an uncommon sight, but the artist manages to make this scene highly erotic just by the perspective and pose of the girl. The blonde beauty isn't even wearing a skimpy thong bikini, yet her pretty bottom hypnotises us without any problems. The bikini bottoms are nicely drawn and their folds provide a lot of realism. The beads of sweat that run down the girl's legs enhance this effect even more. Dreamlike.
