Margarita se está llenando de arte en todas partes, comenzando por sus muros, y no les hablo de los murales de La Asunción, ni de los otros muchos que embellecen las calles de la isla, sino que ahora podemos verlos también en los centros comerciales, o por lo menos así es en el C.C. Parque Costa Azul que al contar con muchos locales desocupados han tomado la iniciativa de convertir esos espacios en lienzos gigantes que reflejan parte de lo que somos, y la verdad me parece una iniciativa genial, ya que no solo disfrutamos del trabajo de nuestros artistas, sino que nos olvidamos un poco del hecho de que son locales que han cerrado y nos concentramos en lo positivo.
Margarita is filling up with art everywhere, starting with its walls, and I'm not talking about the murals in La Asunción, or the many others that embellish the streets of the island, but now we can also see them in shopping malls, or at least that's the case in the Costa Azul Mall. Parque Costa Azul, which, with many vacant premises, has taken the initiative to convert these spaces into giant canvases that reflect part of who we are. I think this is a great initiative, as not only do we enjoy the work of our artists, but we also forget a little about the fact that these are premises that have closed down and focus on the positive.
Ya alguien en la comunidad había comentado en una publicación anterior este cambio en el centro comercial, pero por supuesto yo quería ir a verlo de primera y en mi última visita aproveché de tomarle fotitos a los que me encontré en el camino, y déjenme decirles que cada uno es más bello que el otro, muestra del inmenso talento que hay en la isla, y por supuesto que como con todo tengo mis favoritos, pero la verdad es que cada uno de estos murales es una obra de arte.
Y como les comenté un poco más arriba todos reflejan un poco de lo que es nuestro estado así que verás mucho colorido, paisajes exuberantes, mar por todas partes, un poco de nuestra vegetación, de nuestra gente y de las aves representativas de este pedacito de cielo en el que por dicha vivimos.
Someone in the community had already mentioned this change in the shopping center in a previous post, but of course I wanted to see it for myself, and on my last visit I took the opportunity to take pictures of the ones I found along the way. Let me tell you, each one is more beautiful than the last, showcasing the immense talent that exists on the island. And of course, as with everything, I have my favorites, but the truth is that each of these murals is a work of art.
And as I mentioned above, they all reflect a little bit of what our state is like, so you'll see lots of color, lush landscapes, the sea everywhere, a little bit of our vegetation, our people, and the birds that represent this little piece of heaven in which we are fortunate to live.
Entre mis favoritos está uno con el que me dio mucha alegría encontrarme porque es un personaje del Municipio Antolin del Campo que es donde vivo, y se trata de la popular "mujer de las flores", la señora Lourdes Brito, digna representante de la mujer margariteña, súper alegre, muy jocosa, quien como característica principal, y por lo que recibe su nombre, siempre siempre tiene un tocado de flores en su peinado, de hecho ella es súper famosa, no solo por su estampa, sino por su personalidad alegre.
Otro de mis favoritos es el de un niño con alas de ave, específicamente de la cotorra margariteña, que es el ave que identifica a nuestro estado y está parado frente al mar con sus alas extendidas como protegiendo al grupo de pescadores que se encuentran en él en plena faena. Se puede ver el cielo con sus colores intensos y a los lados cactus y flores coloridas. Simplemente hermoso.
Among my favorites is one that I was very happy to find because it is a character from the municipality of Antolin del Campo, where I live, and it is the popular "flower woman," Mrs. Lourdes Brito, a worthy representative of the women of Margarita, who is super cheerful and very humorous. Her main characteristic, and the reason she gets her name, is that she always wears a flower headdress in her hair. In fact, she is super famous, not only for her appearance, but also for her cheerful personality.
Another of my favorites is that of a boy with bird wings, specifically those of the Margariteña parrot, which is the bird that identifies our state. He is standing in front of the sea with his wings spread as if protecting the group of fishermen who are working there. You can see the sky with its intense colors and cacti and colorful flowers on either side. Simply beautiful.
Otro que me encantó es una especie de collage que muestra distintas cosas representativas de nuestra isla como el faro de punta ballena, una cotorra margariteña, una cayena, pelícanos, por supuesto el mar, una tortuga marina, además también se pueden ver las salinas de pampatar y una mujer, que aunque para mí debería tener los ojos negros o marrones, quizá el azul trató representar un poco nuestro cielo siempre hermoso y el azul de nuestro mar. La verdad es una belleza.
Y en realidad pudiese hablarles de cada uno, pero no quiero resultar fastidiosa ni quitarles la emoción para cuando vayan a verlos, porque en serio tienen que ir, no todos tienen la dicha de disfrutar de tanto talento al visitar un centro comercial, así que los invito a todos a recorrer el C.C. Parque Costa Azul, no solo para comprar, sino para disfrutar de esta belleza de murales.
Another one I loved is a kind of collage showing different things that represent our island, such as the Punta Ballena lighthouse, a Margarita parrot, a cayenne pepper, pelicans, the sea of course, a sea turtle, you can also see the Pampatar salt flats and a woman, who, although I think she should have black or brown eyes, perhaps the blue was meant to represent our always beautiful sky and the blue of our sea. It really is beautiful.
I could talk about each one, but I don't want to bore you or spoil the excitement for when you go to see them, because seriously, you have to go. Not everyone has the good fortune to enjoy such talent when visiting a shopping center, so I invite you all to visit the Parque Costa Azul Shopping Center, not only to shop, but also to enjoy these beautiful murals.

La última vez que fui , estaban apenas e iniciando esos murales, pensé que era una iniciativa para decorar y embellecer todo en lo que se respecta a las tiendas vacías peor no, era un concurso de murales, cuando ví las obras terminadas en Ig, me quedé loca de lo hermosas y diversas que eran.
