Santorini en la isla: ¿vale la pena? 🍨[Esp/Eng]

Espero tengan un buen inicio de semana, por mi parte super bien y estoy muy emocionada por compartirles mi visita a Santorini, la nueva heladería de yogurt griego en la isla. Hace poco vi un post de @yuusaa donde comentaba su experiencia y desde ese momento estaba muy ansiosa por ir, y se logró mucho antes de lo que tenía planeado.

I hope you're having a good start to the week. I'm doing great and I'm very excited to share with you my visit to Santorini, the new Greek yogurt ice cream shop on the island. I recently saw a post by @yuusaa where she commented on her experience and from that moment on I was very eager to go, and I managed to do so much sooner than I had planned.

Ahora, luego de esa pequeña introducción, lo primero que quería comentar es la ubicación. Antes de que anunciaran la llegada de Santorini a la isla, ya me había enterado de que esta era una nueva franquicia de Río Supermarket, por lo que esperé que estuviera dentro del supermercado, pero no es el caso.

Está en una de las salidas de Guuao, lo que es una buena ubicación, pero ese día había bastantes personas, por lo que al estar justo a la salida es como si bloqueara esa parte para los otros clientes. Igual, debo decir que el lugar está ambientado muy lindo, y aunque los locales que venden yogurt griego suelen tener una estética parecida, eso en lo personal no me molesta para nada; siento que va muy bien con su producto principal.

Now, after that brief introduction, the first thing I wanted to mention is the location. Before they announced Santorini's arrival on the island, I had already heard that this was a new Rio Supermarket franchise, so I expected it to be inside the supermarket, but that's not the case.

It's located at one of the exits of Guuao, which is a good location, but there were quite a few people there that day, so being right at the exit is like blocking that area for other customers. Still, I must say that the place is very nicely decorated, and although the shops that sell Greek yogurt tend to have a similar aesthetic, that doesn't bother me at all; I feel that it goes very well with their main product.

Lo más importante en estas heladerías es saber si ese yogurt vale la pena o no. Los precios varían dependiendo de si quieres tinas o barquillas, pero van desde 1$ hasta 8$, y tienes toppings y syrups ilimitados, lo cual me sorprendió porque tenía la idea de que cada topping tenía un costo. Pero yo iba a aprovechar esta oportunidad para probar todos los toppings y los syrups de pistacho que pudiera porque soy muy fan, aunque también había una gran variedad como granola, almendras, Oreo y M&M’s. Esto es muy bueno para quienes buscan algo saludable, pero si no es el caso y quieres algo más dulce, también lo tienen.

The most important thing at these ice cream shops is knowing whether or not the yogurt is worth it. Prices vary depending on whether you want tubs or cones, but they range from $1 to $8, and you get unlimited toppings and syrups, which surprised me because I thought each topping had a separate cost. But I was going to take advantage of this opportunity to try all the toppings and pistachio syrups I could because I'm a big fan, although there was also a wide variety such as granola, almonds, Oreos, and M&M's. This is great for those looking for something healthy, but if that's not the case and you want something sweeter, they have that too.

La presentación en general es bastante linda, y con respecto al sabor del yogurt, a mí me gustó. Para quienes han probado yogurt griego antes, sabrán que tiende a ser un poco ácido; este lo es, pero no demasiado, y la combinación con los toppings terminó haciendo que me encantara. Ahora sigo emocionada pero por volver a ir y probar otros toppings. Si les gusta el yogurt, deberían darle una oportunidad.

The presentation is quite nice overall, and as for the taste of the yogurt, I liked it. For those who have tried Greek yogurt before, you know that it tends to be a little tart; this one is, but not too much, and the combination with the toppings ended up making me love it. Now I'm excited to go back and try other toppings. If you like yogurt, you should give it a try.
