Today I went again to the Leoflig park in the city of Puerto Ordaz - Venezuela, and it has been part of my routine to consistently visit the different natural parks in the city, there will always be new paths to explore and learn about, so from my departure at 8 am, I took a trip through the city from my house, with a walk of perhaps about 1.5 km to the entrance of the park, and then went a little deeper into the jungle area that characterizes it. From the entrance I walked along a paved path between ups and downs, where you can normally find cyclists or people jogging, since it is a perfect place to exercise.

As you can see in the photo, this park has a large area where you can see a lot of vegetation, between plants and trees, as well as a variety of animal species that are not seen at first sight, but you can manage to hear some from afar. This whole journey took me about 2 km more from the park entrance and without a doubt for me these are moments of relaxation, breathing pure natural air, observing all the vegetation and as always taking pictures of Tofo which I appreciate.

However, on this occasion I could not use my camera, only a few photographs were enough for it to discharge and I did not have the foresight to recharge the batteries, but even so I continued taking pictures with my cell phone, I could not leave in vain the fact of having come to this beautiful place on a day of radiant sun but with intense heat, although very characteristic of the area for having more humid conditions due to the type of jungle vegetation.

Of course this park has many paths that lead to different places, it even has connections with other parks such as Cachamay and La Llovizna, but it would take even several days to walk around it all, however today I discovered other interesting places that I plan to publish soon. But in this post I show my journey to a point where there is a large lagoon and its connections with the large rapids of the Caroní River, a point where it also connects with the Macagua dam.

The outward journey is more relaxed, you practically feel like you are going down pure hills, with the exception of some climbs, but the return does feel more like those climbs, that is why many cyclists come to exercise in this area, because in addition to having contact with nature, it is also perfect for further strengthening physical condition. I would like to tour this place by bicycle but as I usually enter more wooded areas it would be very tedious to ride a bicycle in which I cannot have certain access to those places that I can travel.

Without a doubt this Wednesday was a very productive day, a day to take the time to just walk and appreciate everything you see, contemplate nature, breathe air and as always take photographs. I might plan to go with my wife next week, because I want to show her some beautiful places in Leofling Park, let's see if she's up for it and we do this tour.

All photos are my own.
