Walking past marigolds

A post published on the #wednesdaywalk community run by @tattoodjay

In this post, I would like to share with you a few photos that I took last summer.

I stopped to take these photos while I was walking past some gorgeous flowers.

It is about time to upload them to Ecency for you to enjoy, as well.

Do you like marigolds?

This post is a tribute to marigolds.

I managed to capture quite a few of them with my smartphone camera.

They were planted by someone on the side of a new outdoor parking area.

With some tender loving care and the help of God, they grew up and gave magnificent flowers.

I had no idea that marigolds come in so different colors.
The person who planted them must have had very good taste, and looked after them very well.

Orange is perhaps the most common color of marigolds.

There are also yellow marigolds.

Some people may confuse the orange ones with the yellow ones, but they are different.

You soon realize that when you see them close together.

What about pink marigolds, like the ones in the following photo?

Their yellow heart is a nice detail that makes them even more beautiful, I think.

Finally, red marigolds make very nice flowers.

hey can adorn your balcony, where you can find a place to sit and read a book, surrounded by their presence.

Some people have the habit of cutting flowers wherever and whenever they find them.

I think that this is a bad habit.

When you cut a flower, it is no longer there for other people to admire its beauty.

I don’t know if it’s just me, but I always feel the healing and calming aura of flowers when looking at them.

Smelling a flower can improve your mood and make you feel better.

But – there is always a “but” – we should bear in mind that their beauty is ephemeral.
