Hello Hello Hivians
Today we are rewinding a couple of weeks as I did not get out with my phone anywhere interesting this week.
Never the less, wrap up warm, it was sunny in patches, but looks can be deceiving!!
The day really was a beauty and the sun was shining!
So without further ado let's get out there!
We are in the Kingdom of Fife on the East coast of Scotland. I started on top of the hill opposite the football stadium, meaning we are going downhill first!
To the left is the railway line, which runs the other side of the football ground.
I must admit I like bridges with boats or trains on them, so I need to hang around and catch a shot with the train going over our local viaduct, it is pretty tall and would make for a cool shot, don't you think?
We are standing halfway down the hill. In the distance we will hang a left at the end of the road on the horizon.
I call this murder hill
Because it is pure bloody murder when you are struggling come back up it with a few backs of groceries!
If you see the block of flats right at the very top of the hill on the left, then we wiil stop there and you can see where we are going.
On the left you can see the sign for Lidl supermarket and on the right you can't see it, but but it is Morrison's supermarket.
Can you guess where we are going...?
Let's see if this helps ....
So I kept this and actually quite like it.
I was on full zoom and no idea what happened... But it was not what I was expecting!
It is meant to be the sea!
My artsy blur I call it...
There now you might recognise the sea and the wild flowers.
So time to get to that beach!
As you can see, the waves were quite choppy!
Of course, choppy waves means things get stirred around on the beach.
Such as this ....
Looks like a Z right?
Seems like we might get a few interesting things after all!
Looking inland it looks like a fluffing gorgeous day. But trust me, it was chilly with that wind!
Yeah the flug fluttering high and no wonder if you see the breakers below!
Plenty of seashore to look for shells and seaglass though!
Not to mention big footprints to play around with, just to show how small the blue pottery shard was.
There are all kinds of rock formations down at the beach, no idea what we call them though!
Do you see what is nestled in the rocks!
Yes some poor pup has lost their ball!
But what is this?
It was exceeding light, I am thinking some sort of bone...
See more rock formations, a jaggedy heaven if you like!
Sea sand and sun is some wonderful combination for me.
Especially when the surf kicks up and nature shows us just who is the boss!
Well there was still some time for more beach combing, and guess what we picked up next...
Yes it was time to collect a few cute seashells.
Before heading home and getting a nice hot cuppa!
This is also a post to participate in the #wednesdaywalk initiative from the wonderful @tattoodjay

Oh, that sea looks very cold and strong!!! I live near the sea too, only ours is the Caribbean Sea, which is calmer and less cold. A walk on the beach is always good, rewarding and inspiring, and if we find treasures, like these, it can be fun and remind us of our childhood days. Thanks for showing me a part of your city, my friend. Regards
Ah yes I know your sea, and it yes it is much much warmer as is your sand!
I try to do it at least once every two weeks and the pottery shards, sea glass and shells all get put into glass jars ready to be made into bits of art.
Thank you Nancy and I hope you are having a great week.
That definitely looks like a piece of bone to me. Either that or some kind of pumice stone. Very nice shots! It looks like you had a beautiful if not blustery day for a walk!
It is very light, soft wood like light. It does not feel very pumice stone like as we have a few of them. Yes I was tempted to say some sort of vertebrae!
Yikes! Happy Halloween!
Staying to catch a train going by the viaduct would be worth it I feel it would be such a cool shot
Not saying the photos you shared today arent cool I love them all especially the ones by the water
Thanks for joining the Wednesday walk
Have a great day
Thanks Jay, yes I want a train shot, and maybe in the dark too. Was just coming home now and by 5 it is already pretty dark!
one day you will get it ;)
She sells seashells on the seashore, haha.. that's what I remember when I read the title haha.. I won't forget that murder hill.. try walking there everyday, you might burn lot of calories hehe.. ✌️

I think I made a post last year called that. It is a catchy phrase to try and say fast!
And fluffing murder hill, I probably go up and down it every other day!

Thanks for using @worldmappin 😘
The sea overflow always brings remnants material to the shore.
There now you might recognise the sea and the wild flowers.
Don't bother, I don't know because I do not leave near the sea or water locked environment. I guess that's what happens when you are at the center of a place. Cool pictures anyway, I hope captain Jack sparrow doesn't loose his hat to the sea shore.
ah so you are in the middle, darn even in Nigeria I was around Port Harcourt so close to the sea and then Bonny Island too.
Been to Akwa-ibom before? It actually spans to the Atlantic ocean. So yes there is much water. Nevertheless, in the capital city, there is no water. We only hear and visit stream, rivers and oceans. Our neighboring local gov'ts have a lot of it.
Oh yes Uyo if I remember, you guys were the next state over from Rivers state. I know I drove to Oron once which is by the water.
Yes friend, surprising we don't have water. How did you see akwa ibom and Uyo as the capital
Are those buildings are residential?
It looks all the same. I mean the style.
I imagine myself walking there at the seashore. Don't really like it all the time at its malagkit 😆
Yes the buildings at the beginning on the way to the beach are all flats or condos.
Ah you like inland and things... Me likes the sea,,, and malagkit what is that... I saw ....
Awesome weather innit? Looks like you had some great time lately hehe. I love those cute seashells. I am into collecting them but my mom somehow loves it hehe
Yeah we can be lucky with the weather, as we don't get as much rain as the west coast.
Oh some mother and daughter bonding time? Are you close to the sea?
Yes collecting things is fun and a good way to get some fresh air and exercise, that plus make things too!
It's nice to walk along the shore there and pick up some nice shells. Looks sunny yet chilling😬.
Yeah it is fun to collect things and a good excuse to get out on the beach as often the weather is not good. Now of course we are heading into winter and crap brr weather!

Looks like you really had a great day which is making me feel jealous because I've never been to the beach. Honestly, I don't know why, my mum kept putting it off but I really want to feel this. The pictures are very cool by the way. Thank you for sharing 😊
