Two souls, one heart and the Engagement!

All's well that ends well, that how I could sum up my yesterday. It was an important day as well as very hectic. But at the ended on a happiest possible note. It was my neice engagement day. I was quite nervous in the begunung for the preparation and arrangement but was quite satisfying seeing so many happy faces at the end of the event. It was an awesome event planned in a high profile resort.

It was an hectic day that begun pretty early, we have to reach the venue to make sure everything is in place. Also the would be bride , my neice needed some makeover at a nearby beauty parlour before her big ocassion. So we went to the the venue, which was an hour drive from my home. We have booked a resort for the special ocassion. Although, we used to had traditional engagement ceremony, buy my neice wanted to give a modern touch to the ocassion. The new generation kidd wanted all the glamour and attention from the friends and relative. So me and my nephew were assigned the tough task. Everything was planned and executed in 3 days. We somehow Crack a good deal with the venue.

I was quite busy with the days event that I missed to photograph much of the venue. But it was a resort having good greenary and multiple pool side at every corner. They have a good accomodation facility too. But having a day event we were mostly occupied with the event. Nowadays many parties were organksed in these location. Having a nice pool aide view is a major attraction for photography lovers. I ended up only few scene. The hall in middle being te venue of our function.

The lush green garden alongside the pool is adding a different mood and vibes to the ocassion. While I could not enjoyed much, with most of act were handled by me. From welcoming the guest to organising the function and then looking after thr foods and all. The program was suppose to begin at 11AM. But the traffic and some delays made it bit late, but it was good to have some time to enjoy the evening. As soon the guest started to arrived, I looked at the snacks counter and it was all prepped up nicely.

The colour pot of tangy gol gappe water was the major attraction. Honestly I tasted only one to make sure preparation was ok. We have other snacks items too, ready tonseve to the guest. Be it the boy side or the girls, the table is set for all. Begining with the starter to the main course to dessert we have arranged it all. But look at the call of the time, I did not enjoyed any of these. These being the punishment for organising the event and making sure it goes well.

Such grand engagement was not part of our culture. But just to fulfill the girls wish, we did it in style. From ramp walk, with smokes and firecrackers were part of it. Post the ring ceremon it was the photo session of the couple as well as the blessing time from the elders...here are the two love birds, who are now engaged.

The wedding date will be finalised later. But finding every guest happy with the arrangement and ocassion was more satisfying. The whole day was very hectic and what began at 4AM ended at 10PM when I lay flat in my bed. A great day for everyone with fun , enjoyment, foods and lots of happiness all around. Such was my #Wednesdaywalk.
