Just another day for School (New Year Eve)

Last day of the year, and many school were functioning. It is quite strange seeing the school running as in my days, we used to a winter break from Christmas eve to first week of January. A long winter break means a lot of fun and enjoyment. But it seems it is not the case with the todays school or may be the growing up kids needs more attention. Standing outside the school, soaking the sun i wan trying noticing the dull atmosphere, before it buzzing.

Some small vendors, parents were all queued up on the street waiting for their ward to comes out. The school situated beside a busy road gets quite buzzing once student will comes out but before that the atmosphere was quite silent. There were big trees, and under them there were vendors selling their items. While there is an ice cream vendors which is a common sight at any school the other was a mini truck restaurant selling some fried items.

On their other side, there were few autos waiting for the kids to come out. Generally a school provides their bus services but due to their fixed timing of early pick and late drip, many parents does not like them. So they choose these autos for their timely services. There were many autos, who are engaged in this services and provides better services at a cheaper rate. These autos dedicatedly runs for the school and always be on time. They run on a particular route and make a better services.

I went near to the ice cream cart trying to catch up with him. I like talking to sech person, as I am always interested in knowing how they make up their livelihood by operating these ice creams cycle. But this one does not appears to be friendly. So avoid the interaction. But I quietly snapped him from a closer view.

Being a busy street, the road has good traffic. But not in afternoon as people avoid getting into this area because of the school timing. So it remain vacant.

The restaurant operative inside the mini truck, started seeing foothold and they began selling their snack item.

It was the last day of year, but yet seeing the atmosphere, it does not feels like much entertaining. There is not much celebration and neither any feel like they are interested in any new year celebration. Anyway I have to reach my village to avoid getting late. And I made it bit late after driving 100km in a cold weather. It was cold as far as we are habituated to. It was intense drive and i reached safely.
