Curse of visiting the fields.

in Wednesday Walk6 days ago

Sometime it get tough to visit the fields. Today I am in my village for some work. Taking out some time, I decided to take a walk in the fields, only to get so many prickly things stuck on my trousers. People in villages avoid wearing full trousers when goes into fields. The reason, you will see in this.

These are Chrysopogon aciculatus, also known as golden false beardgrass which are available in abundance around the fields. These are wild grasses that grows along the fields. The best part is that it appears to be very attractive like a fur from a distance but as you pass through it. It get stuck into the trousers. Only to give some pricking experince to the skin.

I was aware of this consequences but just missed it in hurry. Ultimately , I ended us picking esch one of them.one by one. This is why wearing a trousers is a sin while visiting the fields. It covers my entire below knee area portion. The most painful thing is that, these cannot be removed, either brushing or scrubing or washing. You have to pick them one by one and it is quite a time consuming process.

The important aspect is that, even in so much pricking pieces , I kept my walk on. I went to my farming fields to see the progress of the paddy. So far they are doing pretty good.

The green surrounding was so relaxing to watch for hours. The color green is believed to calm the nervous system because our eyes are best at perceiving green wavelengths. This can help reduce eye strain and improve focus. And this theory made me to seat and enjoying the all around.

It was so good to be around our own place. Living away from home alwsys likes to be a outsider. But the Calmness and peace can only get when you live at your own place.

Peace!!
