Finally a good snow for #wednesdaywalk by @tattoodjay
Finally we had a good snow. Now my daughter is pestering me to go to the playground.
She loved swinging but all the rest of the playground was covered in ice. No slides or any of the jungle gym stuff was useable.
Now its time to walk. She didn't mind at first but at the first sign of slipping she wanted to go back into the stroller.
Now to get wrapped up like a mummy in blankets. And I get to push this stroller through the snow for another mile again lol.
We did discover a nice hill to go sledding on. The trick is to get here before everyone's feet have packed the snow into solid ice. Then it gets impossible to climb back up.
I wonder if the skate park could be used for snowboarding?
The lake looks nice and blank. Sadly no birds or squirrels to shoot on my zoom lens.
All the carp and bluegill at the lake are probably hibernating, otherwise it would be a nice spot to go ice fishing.
Poor neighbors are all going to shoveling soon. At least they better before it turns to ice...
Of course it warmed enough to melt the freeze overnight. Now its time to put the yak traks on to avoid doing a backflip on tye sidewalks.

Looks like you had a nice fall of snow, we havent had enough here to need shovelling which persoanlly i really dont mind lOL

Thankfully I'm in a condo and don't have to worry about it, but someday I might need to get a house and all the chores that come with it.
thats the crazy thing before we retired we lived in a condo, it was nice to be able to sit and relax and watch the team come through and clear the snow
Now most when they retire down size I'm sure we didnt, and now I have to clear snow lOL
Oh it's been a while, your daughter was bigger now.
The last time, she was still a baby and in her stroller as you walk around with wife.
The grow up so fast.
It sucks to live in Illinois, the last couple of years the winters here were pretty mild, now it looks like we are paying for it lol
The cold seems to get push back farther and farther, November and December nice and mild now the winter actually hits. Still better than those polar vortex years.
Your daughter will be on the sled hill soon. At least riding with dad 😆 I pulled a lot of sleds up hills when the kids were little. Sucks pulling a sled with a kid in it UP the hill 😳
Haha I'm sure it would be terrible pulling a kid up the hill in a sled. I doubt I'll be going down the hill, probably would hit a grass lump and go flying.
You got so much more snow than we did. The ground is bare here.
I bet it is colder there though. It seems to get warmer here when the snow is falling, but when its a bright clear day it gets really cold.
