Here is a super cold walk in the forest for this #wednesdaywalk by @tattoodjay
When it is super cold out it is super quiet in the forest.
No birds, squirrels or people are out, they are all in their various homes keeping warm.
I was hoping to see some critters out but all I have to shoot are branches this time around.
Even the sun can barely be seen, cold and cloudy and gloomy.
The ground is frozen and crunchy and the ice is left over from a warmer rain last week.
Only the polypores are out for mushroom hunting. Nothing much to post for #fungifriday sadly.
This spruce has something boring at it. Perhaps a chipmunk is making a warm house inside here?
My daughter is going through cold training lol. She has to walk a couple times a day to help her have sleep. She also loves playing with the pinecones.
This time she only walked a tiny bit before begging to get into the stroller and get wrapped in blankets. Now I have to push this heavy stroller for another mile back to the car lol. Maybe we should have walked in the noisy mall this time instead of the frozen forest.
That's all for now, thanks for looking :-)
Happy Wednesday walk.May your walk be beautiful.
Thanks :-)
when its so cold allthe animals are quiet for sure it is very cold, I probably wouldnt have gone out when its that cold especially not for a walk
Thanks for joining the Wednesday Walk :)
My daughter definitely has to go for a walk everyday or else we get woorn up at 3am. The $90 a month kid gym is looking like a good idea for winter. I bet she would catch stuff from other kids there so the cold forest was my last option.
I remember when my daughters were young and i had to get them out for walks so they would slepe at night
Minneapolis Z00 has a really big indoor area that was our go-to for "activity" walks when the kids were little and the cold outdoors were getting old. Keeping kids active is really good for them especially these days.
