Although I walk every day, but after a long time I am writing in this community. Daily walk is on almost the same route and I focus a lot on myself. Most of the time I forget to take photos with my phone.
But today I want to share with you my walk in Himachal. Where along with the walk, every turn of the trails gives new enthusiasm, new experiences and it is just fun (स्वाद आ जाता है ). I have written this line again in Hindi in brackets, because some lines fit more accurately in a particular language, maybe it is only me who feels so.
We had gone to do route marking for an ultra running event. We went from Solang Valley to Kothi on a scooter, took permission to park the scooter in a shop and set out with a paint can, brush, water bottle, some chocolates and dry fruits.
We did route marking for more than 9 kilometers. It is quite different to walk 9 kms in the hills and 9 kms on a plain road. In 9 kms of hills, you can see beautiful valleys, shepherds, beautiful villages, waterfalls, rivers, trees, flowers and faraway mountain peaks.
From Kothi, via British Bridge, through dense forest, we marked the route till Chodah Mod, which is around 9 kms. chodah Mod connects Rohtang Pass and the trail to Bhrigu Lake. I have not been to Bhrigu Lake yet after coming to Solang, and I have to go there someday. Paragliding is also done at Chauraad Mod. This trail is not so exposed by trekkers, only locals, runners of our event and shepherds can be seen here. Locals come here to collect wood for burning.
Sometimes while walking in the forest, everything becomes very deserted, only the sound of one's own feet is heard, and in between a bird breaks the silence with its sound. And sometimes I hear sounds that I am not familiar with, and in such a situation I get scared thinking what kind of sound is this, what kind of animal it might be.
I am always scared of wild animals in the jungle, and @himalayanwomb scared of ghosts. Having spent my childhood in the village, I have seen many ferocious wild animals from very close, and the thought repeatedly comes to my mind that a lion must be lurking and watching us. Or what will I do if a bear suddenly comes.
We marked the route from Kothi to 14th turn and from there we would either walk to the place where we had parked the scooter, or take a taxi or lift.
We waited for about 40 minutes but got nothing and finally a truck gave us a lift. We had food at the shop where the scooter was parked and came back to Solang Valley.

I love to climb mountains although in the city where I live there are no mountains apart from small hills, but when you are on a mountain you feel like that full sensation of freedom. Excellent post and greetings!
