This is another entry for the #wednesdaywalk challenge hosted by @tattoodjay. This time, I revisited a local bluff to check on new wildflowers blooming after last weekend's thunderstorms.

As you can see, the green is returning. Finally! It's been so blurry, brown, and gray the past few weeks thanks to some unseasonable dryness. Finally, the green man has returned.

The views of the city below were fantastic. You can see the sun beginning to creep over the city as it clears the bluff behind me.

As for the wildflowers, the majority of bluebells were already finished for the season. Dandelions, both yellow and white, were everywhere, but I was also able to find a few other colors on the bluff hike this morning.

Amidst all of the blue and the green, I found a solo yellow flower on the side of a hill. Thanks to my boots, I scaled the incline and managed to snag one photo.

I then climbed back down the hill and head home. The old Scarpas came in handy once again...

Thanks for checking out the walk; until next week, hoping everyone else had a wonderful Wednesday too.

Love the fresh colors as they return at this time of year
So beautiful

It is a wondeful time of the year, no doubt...and long overdue up here.

Ohh yes I bet have a great day

I love my north face trail running boots I bought many years ago at REI! They have lasted me a long time and they are still in great shape! They are getting a little worn now that I use them often but it’s only in the winter and spring they get a lot of use.

Loving the return of the green, we are getting quite a bit of rain right now so hopefully we will get lots more flowers! To the chagrin of my wife and her sinuses though lol allergies. The yellow flower among all that was a great find!

Very nice - I went through a "I'm going to pretend to be professional climber" period and bought a few Scarpas and La Sportivas back in the day (when I was single, of course - my wife would never approve!) I kept this pair, and I've been using the La Sportiva Wild Cats for the trail runners when my knees let me.

Yeah, it seemed to take forever this spring to get some rain, but it finally made it. Our allegeries have been bad over here too, but I'll take it over those negative wind chill days. It really is the best time of the year...funny how it took me to get in 40's to finally appreciate spring. I really am turning into an old man up here!
