Mysterious Atmosphere in Cebu City, Philippines: La Vie Parisienne

The story about this quick walk Wednesday night was truly by accident. I was about to sleep at that time and my friend invited me to go somewhere in JY Square Lahug, Cebu City. I am done with everything because again I am ready to sleep. Thinking that I had only 3 days and 2 nights to stay in the city, I decided to go with her together with our roommates. Refreshing night may I say, walking on the road made me remember my life when I was dwelling in the city a few years ago and realized the two differences. The first difference is living in the city is stressful, you need to wake up early in the morning to get a jeep on time to not be late for work. All things or foods, you need to buy them all. Second, living in the province is so peaceful and calm, you can get even the foods in the backyard like vegetables.

This is across Jollibee at JY Square. This is our first stop. We accompanied our one roommate to have her dinner with her husband because were full already at the Dormtel where we stayed.
At that moment, upon walking, my friend decided to visit a wonderful place in Cebu City.

“La Vie Parisienne"

Hello, this is the place that I want to share with you Hivers, It represents the place of France here in Cebu. I could still remember when I bought a bottle of wine for my wedding, I vividly remember this place, this is the place where we bought our wine year 2014. This place didn’t look like this before, but I was amazingly surprised by what is now. This area already existed in the year 2014, but the outside areas are not yet developed. Now, wow, thanks to the owner for bringing “THE LITTLE PARIS"** here in Cebu.

The interior design of this place and the furniture mesmerized me because we don’t have this at home, LOL. The chair, the arrangement, the types of furniture, and the faux flowers were so nice. They figured it out to be like Paris, as well as the lighting.

Its Hallway looked like!!

You can see Upon entering, you can see the big fridge full of wine, the menus for the pizza and other foods to eat, the cakes or even the cupcakes. On the other side, you can see the mini-library on it. The floor is a unique one, it's made of wood and it's very classical. All things are antique here.

I don’t know why there’s a book inside; in fact, they featured here the wine for relaxation. Finally, I thought, it might be for the book readers who wanted to have that place, get a glass of wine, and read a book. I just wanted to bring all those books.

Looks like a “HORROR”

Grrrrr. I don’t like this one. Seems like that room is horrible and people behind that door will get human meat and eat it inside their room. If you want to tell a story, this baby keeps on knocking on the door, but if you call her, and about to face you, she has a hideous face. What!!!!!, RUN redgemini RUN!!!! Just imagine the situation, though.

All-time FAVORITE – wines

I like Novellino and white wine for me to sleep, but here, will make your pocket empty, They have a lot of wines very delicious from different fruits and make them into wine. Whooahhh!!! I wanted to drink all of those because I was puzzled about what they tasted like. Can I have one, please?? Next time if I have money I’ll buy some here. So I think we were done in the inside area, let’s go the outside of it.

The Restaurant

When I was there, a family was eating their dinner, the others were chit-chatting with their friends with a glass of wine. Under this roof with lights brings you really to another place somewhere abroad. They have faux grass for the floor, making the place more unique and calm.

Scary one!!

When I saw this animal put in the corner, I was scared, because it looked like a flying ghost and ready to eat a pregnant woman. I don’t like to be near but for the sake of having a memento of it, I did and I am really scared.

The Hanging Bed

Wow, this is the place I want to stay for my entire life, I want this corner, this hanging bed and as you can see, there is an artificial big elephant behind me. This elephant looked real in person, and the baby holding her mom was scared seeing that big elephant.

Everybody's Dream - The Big House

All of us wished to have a big house like a mansion, but when I reached the age at which I matured, I didn’t like a big house like the one behind me. I took a picture just to have a remembrance again, for the reason, that house is not only a house, but a restaurant inside, a lot of people eating their dinner inside of this house at that time. They were all rich even I could not afford to eat here.

This is the entrance of the house looks like a mansion, If there is statue or paintings, I’d love to copy them and have a picture, of course.

Big Heart with "Little Paris"

People were so busy taking a picture of this area because behind it is the “little Paris” really this place trying to bring to a place that looks like France.

By the way, I want to introduce to you Hivers, my colleague, my roommate, and my friend whose with me that night, Miss Lyndsey. She’s also fond of going somewhere, really an explorer. She told me that we going to buy pizza, Omg, their foods here are like artificial, you cannot swallow because of the price.

That’s all Hivers, hope you’ve enjoyed reading my happening that time. We go there with NO expense at all just take the picture as a remembrance. Let’s learn when and where to spend our money.

AND YES, PEOPLE MAY THINK ONCE YOU VISIT A PLACE TAKES TIME AND MONEY, BUT WE ARE THE LIVING PROOF THAT YOU ARE WRONG. WE ARE HERE JUST TO SEE THE MYSTERIOUS ATMOSPHERE OF THIS PLACE, WHERE YOU CAN EXPERIENCE THE “PARISIAN LIFE” AND THAT’S THE MEANING OF “LA VIE PARISIENNE” HERE IN CEBU CITY.
