We got another wonderful day in the City of Cebu. We have risen early from the hotel where we have stayed and I was making use of the time while we were still there. My mind kept on thinking about the stroll to be done by my family to some of the famous spots in the city.
And in this blog, I'm going to share a compilation of the truly inspiring walks with my family in the city.
Before we headed to our main itinerary for this day which was the Cebu Ocean Park, I was taking a quick walk to the enticing place in the hotel where we stayed.
The Fantastic Walk at Waterfront Hotel
Together with my travel buddy, RM we took a quick walk to the wide garden in front of the Waterfront Hotel. The green scene served as a good morning vibe for us to have a better mode for the entire day.
My child spotted the towering buildings that cannot be seen in the province. She was able to differentiate the setting between the province and the city.
I was motivated to go to the lower ground to check their swimming pool. As I started to explore the area, I was thinking, Am I in the city? Their swimming pool area is far from car noises or shall I say there are no city sounds heard.
A perfect place for relaxation with the lush green around. I cherished the moment that I was able to step here by taking some photographs that will be kept as an emblem during our quick stay.
Their impressive landscape is truly appealing to one's senses. In here, you can freely see the vast sky, and be relaxed while lying in their rectangular chairs arranged properly at the corner of the pool.
RM together with her cousin was having fun swimming in the pool. I was glad looking at them as they cherish the moment of being together.
Huge frames of Filipino women's attire are proudly hooked on the walls of the hallway. This is informative to everybody.
Another captivating frame caught my attention. A variety of artwork is displayed that adds vibrance to the place.
Family Stroll at Cebu Ocean Park
After we have eaten our breakfast, we took another walk going to Cebu Ocean Park. The children were so excited. It is within walking distance from SM Seaside. This walk strengthened the trust and the bond of the family member.
We crossed this shared lane as one big family. Behind the street are the green scenes that are so cool to our eyes. The flaming sun was irritating to our skin, however, it was not felt due to the captivating landscapes behind and amidst the pathway.
We were exhilarated to explore what are the water species that can be seen inside. Walking in the middle of a mini-pocket forest brought amusement. We have seen how secure the park is.
As we continued our stroll inside, various kinds of fish, big or small are all incredible to look at. Our children were truly entertained by their different appearances.
There are snakes and crocodiles too. For the first time, I have seen the crocodile. It is scary to get closer to it.
Moving forward, we have eye-witnessed the man-made landscape that caught my attention due to its uniqueness.
As we headed to the second floor, the huge tank full of water amused me. So beautiful. It seemed that we were walking in the middle of the ocean and were having fun gazing at the different species from big to small.
People kept on walking while taking photos inside the oceanarium.
As we continued exploring the area, the colorful birds flying from one corner to another mesmerized me. They are tamed and are so amiable.
Before we went out so we can take our exit, I was totally surprised to have seen people soaking their legs in the water. The Garra rufa known as the doctor fish cleaned their feet. They are eating the dead skin and being renewed. I love to try this, but we were running out of time already.
To sum up, these walks were exhausting however it was fulfilling and full of adventure. We love to do this again and again, especially with our children. It was in these walks that they learned how to value others' lives and the love of the family.
We ended our walk in this park with a family photo opportunity thru Ocean Park's Official Photography. We were glad about this pose.

Wow! That was a great experience you had with your family and I think that was a perfect way to keep family together and happy.
